How to Run Twitter Advertisements and Generate Leads on a Click

Twitter Advertisements is slowly getting popular in India. Especially, the one click lead generation ads. Investing in Twitter Advertisements will gradually increase with time. We all know about Twitter, it is a great place to develop a one to one rapport with your audience. Many take to twitter to express their joy or complaints on Twitter and hence, the interaction frequency is higher. Twitter takes you one step closer to your audience by introducing Lead Generation Ads where in you can collect the information of your audiences with one single click. Let us look at the step by step process of creating them.
Step 1: Login to your twitter account and type www.ads.twitter.com you will be lead to your dashboard. If this is the first time you are running Ads on twitter, you will directed to the page where you get to choose which Ad you want to run.
Step 2: Click on the “Create new campaign” button at the right corner and you will see a drop down with options for running your Ads. Click on the Leads on Twitter option to begin.
Step 3: Once you are navigated to the next page, give a name to your campaign and set the course of time for which you want your Ads to run and scroll down.

Next would be setting the target audience for your Ads.
  • Type the location which you want to target, gender you want to target in case your product/ service is exclusive.
  • Select languages if you are running your Ads to only one region. For example, Philippines or Thai. We suggest you not to go for languages as this limits the reach of your Ads – use it unless it is totally necessary.

  • Select the devices you want your Ads to be seen in. You can choose between Android & iOS devices and also the devices such as phones, tablets, computers and mobile.
  • Americans have carriers where in you can choose specific carriers (phone networks).
  • Target audiences according to devices – in case you want to target new devices. You get an option of targeting used based on when they first used twitter, device or even carrier. Twitter gives you the option to include the above mentioned audience or exclude them for a period of time. You may go ahead and choose the time period by clicking on the drop down. Scroll down once you have keyed it in.

Getting to the nitty-gritties, Twitter gives an advertiser the option of targeting audiences through the following features: Keywords, followers, interests, tailored audiences, TV targeting, behaviours and events.
  Featured Targeting methods:

  1. Keyword – With this, you can target users who type in specific keywords in their tweets. You can choose if the entered keywords need to be a broad match, exact match, phrase match, negative match, negative phrase or negative exact!
  2. Followers – Target those followers of specific pages to whom you want to serve your Ads. Since this is a lead generation Ad, you may type in your competitors’ handles .
  3. Interests – Twitter allows you to target people according to their interests. You can choose the kind of events, fields or industry of interests and target your Ads to them. Twitter provides an exhaustive list of interests and sub categories in them for you to choose from.
  4. Tailored audience – You can either upload your own tailored list or even collect visitors from your website.
  5. TV targeting – Target those who watch certain specific TV programs. This feature is available in only a few regions & is not available in India yet.
  6. Behavior targeting – Target followers based on their behaviour pattern. This feature as well is not available in India yet.
      7. Events targeting – Target people interested in certain global or regional events. Twitter          event provides a list of events that you may want to pick from.
Step 4: Once you have keyed in your target audience, move to the next step of setting the budget of your Ad campaign. Type in the amount of money you want to spend on a daily basis. You also have the choice to select the total budget for the campaign – this feature is optional. Like Facebook bidding option, you also have the pricing option for Twitter Ads. Advertisers have the option to choose within three options:  Automatic Bid where your bid will be optimized to the best amount within your budget, Target Bid where you can dictate how much you are willing to spend per lead and Twitter will optimize your spending in accordance within 20% of your target and lastly, Maximum Bid where you can select the maximum amount you are willing to spend.

Step 5: Once you are done with finalizing your budget, we shall move to choosing creatives and composing your tweet. If you have a tweet which is already on your timeline, click on the “Select an existing Tweet” button the right side of the screen and select the tweet you want to use for the campaign. You can choose from those tweets you would have promoted beforehand as well.

If you have a separate tweet set aside, then compose your tweet by typing it out in the space given on the left side of the screen.
Once you are done composing your tweet, move to the next dialogue box and click on the plus sign to get a pop up to attach your image. The optimized image size for Lead Gen Ads on twitter 800×200. Click on the “Upload new image” and click “Save” to proceed.

Once you have composed your tweet and chosen your image, go on to set a call to action button. Here, we shall take reference of Urban tree Infrastructures who are premium builders who build green apartments in Chennai.

Once you click the Add call to action, you will be directed to a pop up where in you need to key in a short description, a call to action, provide privacy link of the company/ brand. Twitter requests for a fallback website link, paste your landing page in its place.
Click Save and move on to name your Twitter card where you want the leads to be collected. This name will not be seen to the audience.

Click on Tweet (promoted only) next and click on the launch button at the right corner to take your Ad live! Now that you have learnt how to run a One Touch Lead Ad on your own, put it to practice and return here to share your experience. Good luck!

How Do Facebook Ads Work for Small Business?

“I think every business tries Facebook ads, fails at it and then blames the platform,”
You’re not alone if a minute or two in Power Editor leaves your head spinning and wondering, “Wait… so how do Facebook ads work?!”
Don’t even know what Power Editor is? Hey, you’re in good company. The majority of Facebook users don’t (more on that later).
In this post, we’re going to teach you why Facebook ads work for small business when you follow a simple, proven strategy.

Facebook Ads Work Well Because…

Facebook's ad targeting enables you to drill down to any audience. With more than 2 billion monthly active users, every consumer market imaginable is on Facebook. The Social Network is simply too big to ignore - yet that’s exactly what so many small businesses are doing.

If you’re ignoring opportunity through paid Facebook ads, chances are you’ve been burned in the past - and we get it, a lot of advertisers have been. This is a common problem for many novice advertisers, which stems from the fact that figuring out the basics of Facebook advertising is relatively simple. And while simple is often good, it’s not in this case.
The ease and simplicity of Facebook’s entry-level ad products has created a problem - just about any motivated SMB owner can hop on Facebook and figure out how to boost a post. But using the standard “Boost Post” feature isn’t likely to generate significant sales.
This results in a lot of amateur Facebook advertisers feeling like they’ve just burned $5 here and $10 there for… what? a few extra likes and impressions?
With $50 spent and nothing to show for it, a lot of small business owners have decided Facebook’s the last place they want to spend their limited marketing dollars - but the flaw is in the process, not the platform.

So, How Do Facebook Ads Work?

Boosting posts for reactions, shares, and comments is fine, but if you want to get sales from your Facebook ad efforts, then you need to provide an offer that's either free, or so well-priced that it’s practically a no-brainer for your target market. Your Facebook sales funnel may look something like this:

1. Set up a Facebook audience

This can be done within Facebook’s Power Editor, you can customize your audience to include/exclude users based on age, location, relationship status, page affinities (e.g. the user “likes” other pages similar to yours), job title, household income and so much more.

Note: Power Editor, if you haven’t used it, is where serious advertising happens. Using the ‘Boost Post’ feature within your Facebook Page only enables you to increase reach among the people who ‘Like’ your page. Power Editor lets you do much more, including creating custom audiences, advertising on Instagram, and testing different versions of the same ad.

2. Create a free offer for your audience

This is the hook that earns their trust - it may be a free eBook, course, trial membership, or even a free physical product that you mail. The goal of your Facebook ad is to get the user over to a landing page where you secure their email address in exchange for the free offer.

3. Offer a small upsell

Once your user acts on the free offer, show them a small upsell product. Your profit margin on this minor upsell should ideally be priced to cover the cost of your Facebook ads. Assuming the right conversion rate, the result is free lead acquisition.

4. Sell via email, retargeting, etc.

Now that you’ve earned your lead’s trust, it’s time to sell them the realproduct. You can do this via email, phone or any other ‘direct’ methods now available to you from the free offer, or you can use a Facebook Pixel to retarget the user with ads. The Facebook Pixel is a small snippet of code you embed on your site. When a Facebook user visits that page (in this case it may be the completion page from your free offer), they’re now “tracked,” allowing you to serve ads specifically created for them.

Other Key Considerations for Facebook Advertising

Define budget and spend

Facebook enables you to retain complete control over your money. As an advertiser, you can define how much you want to spend - you have the option to set a daily budget or limit the budget over the life of the campaign.
You can also tell Facebook what you’re willing to spend per click. This is a great option for businesses that already know what a lead is worth to them.

Test, test, test

Within Power Editor, you have the option to test multiple ads, modifying just one component at a time to see which version produces the best ROI.

For example, one ad may use a different headline (all else remaining the same), another a different image, another a different call-to-action button, and so on.
By serving these variations to the same audience pool, you can figure out which ad generates the best results. Furthermore, you can test identical ads with different audiences.

Strategy > Budget

You don’t need a giant budget to advertise on Facebook. Once you learn the ins and outs of creating audiences and A/B testing ads, you can improve your accuracy, which results in lower costs per action.
Facebook makes a lot of money on amateur advertisers blindly using the ‘Boost Post’ function. Learning to use Power Editor can result in much more effective use of your Facebook advertising budget.

Understanding Types of Facebook Ads

In this post, we’ve primarily discussed why Facebook ads work for driving traffic to a website (Facebook calls these Traffic ads.), however, there are many additional ad types, including:

    • App Installs
    • Brand Awareness
    • Conversions
    • Engagement
    • Lead Generation
    • Reach
    • Store Visits
    • Video Views

All of these ad types serve a unique purpose, from audience growth to making sales. As you learn more about Facebook advertising, you’ll learn how different ads can help you achieve different goals.
Ultimately, the success of your Facebook advertising efforts will depend on your commitment to learning Facebook Power Editor and best practices (or partnering with an experienced agency that already has these skills).

Social Media Design, Development & Maintanance

Social Media Marketing allows your brand to be a part of a much larger conversation.

Did you know that the average person is on Facebook 50 minutes a day alone? Did you also know that there are more than 60 million business pages and more than 1 billion personal profile pages on Facebook? These folks could be your potential clients! Social Media Marketing

Let us help you to understand why social media marketing is not a complete waste of time.
Along with seeing what their friends are up to, what other things might keep each person engaged?  You guessed it interesting articles, photos, how to videos, and much more!

So how can your business model profit from social media?

Social media marketing has become one of the easiest ways to promote your product or service and get in front of new prospects quick. It is a place where the community can build a relationship with your brand and it serves as a customer service tool to keep your product or service top of mind. Prospects and customers want to get to know you and build a relationship. Regardless of your business model, an active and engaging social presents creates credibility, trust, builds brand advocates and sends all kinds of relevancy signals to search engines for greater SEO.

Need more proof that you need to be engaging on social media?

The internet has changed the way consumers shop for what they want NOW. As you know, searching through the phonebook or newspaper is no longer the go to place for ideas on a project or to hire a contractor to do the work. More and more people turn to their peers on social media for recommendations on a lawn service, local plumbers, or local restaurant recommendations. Social Media Marketing has opened the door for “Get it Now” marketing and business promotion. Each business must implement a consistent social media strategy to survive and stay top of mind.

Many businesses use this approach and end up giving up on social media all together. A strategy must be in place to engage with those who want to hear from you on a daily basis because they do. To achieve this, AddMarts creates and develop eye-catching platforms that have folks engaged and coming back to your pages for more. We build your target community for you during the development stage then teach you how to continue the daily engagement. We can also guide you through the process of advertising so that you can continue to target your market after the development stage.
